Despite Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott’s recent marriage woes, the actress appeared to make the most of Valentine’s Day, spending time with the couple’s children and her closest friends.

Spelling and her youngest kids Finn, 15 months, and Hattie, 2, got in the spirit, posing for a family portrait with a bouquet of Valentine’s Day balloons in their backyard. The mom of four also helped her eldest kids Liam, 6, and Stella, 5, create homemade party poppers for their class parties.

“Such a fun and easy crafter you can do with your kiddos,” Spelling, 40, said, posting a picture on her website.

McDermott, 47, entered rehab last month for “health and personal issues” following last month’s reports of infidelity.

Spelling continues to wear her wedding ring and was seen visiting McDermott in rehab this week. A source tells PEOPLE, “It seems like she’ll be able to forgive him.”

Still, Spelling is “having a tough time,” according to sources, and took the holiday to bask in the love and support of friends. After throwing a Valentine’s Day tea party for her closest girlfriends, she wrote on her site, “We had so much fun.”
