TAYLOR & CONOR
With a string of famous Hollywood exes (including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and Jake Gyllenhaal), Taylor Swift has turned her attention to politics. The country star, 22, has been seeing Conor Kennedy, the 18-year-old son of RFK Jr. and recently deceased Mary Kennedy. "They have been dating for a bit," a source tells PEOPLE. "She is swept off her feet."

DARYL & JFK JR.
Swift wouldn't be the first Hollywood star who's fallen for a Kennedy. Fellow blonde beauty Daryl Hannah dated John F. Kennedy Jr. off and on from 1989 to 1994 after meeting at a wedding, before he went on to date – and later marry in 1996 – Calvin Klein publicist Carolyn Bessette.

GLORIA & JOE
The Kennedy-Hollywood romance began with patriarch Joseph Kennedy Jr., a successful East Coast businessman whose involvement in the movie business included a public three-year affair with one of Hollywood's biggest stars of the 1920s – Gloria Swanson, whose life he essentially took over, as her lover, business manager and studio boss.

MARILYN & JFK
The most famous alleged presidential affair of all time, the much-rumored romance between President John F. Kennedy and screen legend Marilyn Monroe has never been proven. (Reputed JFK mistress Judith Exner, for one, swore it happened in her 1977 memoir.) Monroe's last public appearance before her death was in May 1962, when she famously sang "Happy Birthday" to the president at Madison Square Garden.

MARILYN & RFK
The JFK-Marilyn legend also claims that Monroe became the devoutly religious Attorney General Robert Kennedy's lover after the elder Kennedy brother tired of their affair. Author Norman Mailer later went on to create a conspiracy-theory industry when he asserted she was murdered by the CIA because of the supposed relationship.

ANGIE & JFK
For decades, rumors linked the commander-in-chief to another platinum-haired beauty, Angie Dickinson, with one Kennedy biography even claiming the Ocean's 11 star once said of the alleged affair, "It was the best 20 seconds of my life." In 1993, Dickinson broke her silence and said the stories were "unfounded."

PAT & PETER
Jack and Bobby's sister Patricia Kennedy was also linked to Hollywood: In 1954 she wed British Rat Pack actor Peter Lawford, which began JFK's legendary link to Frank Sinatra and his group. Pat and Peter had four kids, but divorced in 1966.

CHERYL & RFK JR.
In 2011, reports surfaced that Bobby Kennedy's son, an environmental lawyer estranged from his wife, and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines were dating. They began attending red carpet events arm-in-arm together within months, but the couple have kept a relatively low profile since Mary Kennedy's suicide in May.

SARAH & JFK JR.
Before she began dating Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker went on a few dates with John Kennedy Jr., whom she met while performing Off-Broadway. He "was a public domain kind of a guy," she told the New York Times in 1992 about why the romance didn't take. "We would go places where there wasn't a soul around, and the next day I'd see pictures of us there in the tabloids. … It's pathetic. When I die, they are going to say, 'Oh, yeah, Sarah once dated John Kennedy.'"

ARNOLD & MARIA
"America's Royal Family" earned an unlikely new member in action star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who married TV newswoman Maria Shriver (Joe Kennedy's granddaughter) in 1986. Introduced by Tom Brokaw in 1977, the future California governor later credited his in-laws with inspiring him to enter politics himself: "I married into a political family…I was exposed to the idea of being a public servant and Eunice and Sargent Shriver became my heroes." Shriver filed for divorce in 2011 after news broke that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child with their housekeeper.
