We’ve all gotten a little tipsy and decided to climb things: tables, barstools. But a national landmark?

Yet that was apparently the case in Sydney over the weekend: Police talked down and/or rescued an intoxicated man who had climbed to the top of Sydney’s iconic Opera House.

The Associated Press has video of the gentleman being helped down by police after an hour of negotiations.

An officer told the Australian Daily Telegraph that, unlike other instances of people atop the Opera House, this man’s climb wasn’t a politically motivated protest.

“A drunken guy just decided to go up the sails,” he said.
