ELYSE VS. ANGELINA
Being compared to the actress-humanitarian can be pretty overwhelming. "Because she's so gorgeous, it's tough," says Elyse Porterfield of Greeley, Colo. "I get it a lot, like when I meet people the first time," she says. A full-time student and aspiring actress, Porterfield has at least one other thing in common with the famous mother of six: Tattoos! She has four of her own.

FRANK VS. LEO
"About two years ago, we flew into L.A. for a surprise birthday and were on Hollywood Boulevard," says Frank Roberts, of Smithville, Mo. "We got out of the car, and a tour guide said, 'You're Leonardo DiCaprio, aren't you?' The guy followed me for about two blocks." Looking like the Oscar nominee has its perks: Roberts, a college student, landed a summer gig working at the Titanic Museum in Branson, Mo. "I got that job because I look like him."

RENEE VS. JENNIFER
"When Friends first aired I had short, dark hair, but people started telling me, 'You look like the girl from this new show,'" says Renee Wiggins. The mom of two now makes her living impersonating Aniston. Still, Wiggins says, "When I look in the mirror, I just see me."

DAVID VS. GEORGE
"Once, when George Clooney" ] was on the cover of PEOPLE for Sexiest Man Alive, I was at a newsstand and this old lady kept looking at me… I said, 'I'm not him,' and she said, 'But dear, you look just like him,'" says David Siegel, of Little Neck, N.Y. That wasn't his only almost-famous moment. "[Clooney] was filming Michael Clayton in the city and my job was nearby," recalls Siegel, who works in insurance sales. "Everybody started taking pictures [of me]."

DAVID VS. BRAD
"Everywhere we go we hear, 'You look like Brad Pitt,'" Josephine Murns of Virginia Beach, Va., says about her husband David. "He moved to New York right after college ... [and] cut his hair, and then he just started getting it from everyone." Even Josephine mistook her future mate for the Moneyball star when she first saw him. "We all nudged each other, [saying], 'Oh my God, he looks like Brad Pitt.'"

SHELLI VS. HILARY
Ever since Shelli Botello was in sixth grade, people have been telling her she looks like Hilary Duff. "Then when I went into high school, everyone would call me Lizzie, as in Lizzie McGuire," says the hairstylist from West Barnstable, Mass. Botello even got the singer's blessing when she went backstage at one of Duff's concerts, with the star telling her she could be her stunt double. "But," Botello says, "she never called me."

SARA VS. KATHERINE
"Everywhere I go, people have a look on their face and they start to say, 'Have you ever been told you look like Katherine Heigl?' I just say, 'Yes, yes, yes,'" says Sara Carroll. Carroll first realized she looked like the 27 Dresses star about 10 years ago, when Heigl was just starting out in Hollywood. "I was going over to some friends' house for dinner and that's when they first mentioned it," recalls the stay-at-home mom from Buena Park, Calif. "I hadn't even seen Roswell yet. Then I started to watch it."

KARI VS. ALI
Kari Rice of Clearwater, Fla., says she never thought she looked like Heroes star Ali Larter until her hairstylist pointed out the resemblance. "Every time I go in there, [people say,] 'You look like the girl from Heroes,'" she tells us. Is Rice happy about having a celebrity look-alike? "I'm a fan," she says. "I like all the movies she's been in. She's gorgeous."

VAL VS. WINONA
Even though she would introduce herself properly, Val McKee of New Haven, Conn., says that when she used to wait tables, customers "would still call me Winona." Now a poet and expository writing instructor at Southern Connecticut State University, McKee understands the comparison to Ryder. "My voice sounds like her, too," she tells us. "It's a really strange thing."

SHERRI VS. HEATHER
"So many people tell me all the time I look like Heather Locklear," says Sherri Curtis of Alpine, Utah. "Once we were up at the Sundance Film Festival, and there was all this paparazzi that started shooting pictures of us... It was really fun." Curtis, a makeup artist, says she admires the longtime actress's strength. "She's incredible and fabulous. She's always been a favorite of mine."

KATIE VS. REESE
Katie Forsberg of Glendale, Ariz., says she's been confused for the actress for a decade. "One of my sister's friends asked me [if I was her]," she tells us. The mom of three, with daughter Mallory (pictured), says she's a big fan of Walk the Line, the film that earned Witherspoon an Oscar for Best Actress. While she finds the coincidence "pretty cool," Forsberg admits, "I still don't see it."
