Aside from having impressive acting chops, the kids of Netflix’s Stranger Things – namely Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) – are also total pros at belting out show tunes and pop singles.
In fact, two of the show’s main players – Gaten and Caleb – actually did it professionally, performing on Broadway in Les Misérables and The Lion King, respectively.
The kids’ passion for singing bonded the actors, a fact Millie made known when she spoke to Aaron Paul in an interview for ELLE.
“[Graten would] come to our house in Atlanta, and we loved to practice and harmonize together,” she said. “It was really cool to find someone in this industry who loves to sing. That’s a really big bond we have, me and Gaten. Also Caleb loves to sing as well.”
In light of Matarazzo revealing his impressive rapping skills in a new Old Navy spot, we’re taking a look back at other times the trio showed off their awe-inspiring skills on the mic.
Gaten Matarazzo – Freestyling for Old Navy
Gaten Matarazzo – The National Anthem
Millie Bobby Brown – “Monster”
Caleb McLaughlin – “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” from The Lion King
Gaten Matarazzo – “Bring Him Home” from Les Misérables

Fingers crossed the trio break into a musical number in season 2 of the Netflix hit!
