Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers and “Malcolm in the Middle” star Frankie Muniz are taking part in a sweet cause. From 6-10 p.m. on Wednesday, the Baskin-Robbins “31 Flavors” people will give out free scoops of ice cream at their participating stores nationwide, reports the Associated Press. For every scoop, the chain will make a donation to First Book, a nonprofit group that promotes literacy among low-income families by providing children with their first new books. That donation is being matched by DreamWorks studios, which on May 18 will release the animated comedy “Shrek,” featuring the voices of Meyers, Murphy and Diaz.
