Spice Up Your Life: Spice Girl's Dedication to 'Girl Power' Takes Over The Global Goals' Latest Campaign

Posted on

The Spice Girls sure have been successful in making girl power ‘last forever.’

Victoria Beckham (a.k.a. Posh Spice) took to social media to share an inspirational video of The Global Goals’ – an organization aimed to end poverty, fix climate change and tackle inequalities – latest campaign to fight for women’s rights.

“20 years on – Girl Power being used to empower a new generation. I m so proud of The Global Goals #WhatIReallyReallyWant,” Beckham wrote on her Facebook page.

In the groovy video crafted around the girl group’s hit song “Wannabe,” women of all shapes, sizes and colors dance, sing and rally to end violence against girls, increase the quality education for all girls, end child marriage and to gain equal pay for equal work.

“Girl power has come a long way, let’s take it further,” the video says.

The Global Goals is urging women to share a picture of #WhatIReallyReallyWant, and will pass it on to world leaders at the United Nations in September.
