Her wedding may have been "too glorious for words" but Sinead O’Connor’s honeymoon will simply have to wait.

“We don’t really have time for that because we’re both working a lot,” the singer, who tied the knot with Barry Herridge in Las Vegas last Thursday, told PEOPLE Tuesday at the Giorgio Armani and Cinema Society screening of Albert Nobbs in New York.

On the agenda instead? “Lots of snuggling,” said the singer, who performed an original song, “Lay Your Head Down,” from the film, which stars Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Glenn Close as a woman posing as a man to keep her job as a butler in 19th century Ireland.

Luckily for O’Connor and her new husband the holiday season will bring romance even if there is no honeymoon. “This will be our first [Christmas] together so we’ll get a lot of mistletoe in,” she said.

And as for her nuptials, O’Connor says nothing compares to saying “I do” in Sin City.

“The whole thing was fantastic,” she said. “I highly recommend Vegas.”
