Ouch! Now that’s a hoverboard fail.
Mike Tyson has joined thousands of others who are enjoying hoverboards, and like them, his ride didn’t end so sweet.
On Tuesday, the former heavyweight champion shared a video on Instagram of him riding everyone’s newest favorite toy, and before it’s over, the 49-year-old falls off the board, landing on his back with a loud thud.
“#hoverboard #knockout #MikeTysonBreaksBack #imtoooldforthisshit @getcyboard,” Tyson captioned the video.
Before his fall, the Hangover star did get some fun in, spinning in circles and traveling a short distance on the hoverboard as he seemingly had the hang of it before losing his balance.
While his slip up may be one of the most popular, Tyson definitely isn’t the only one having trouble learning how to ride the motorized skateboard. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, many injuries caused by the popular Christmas gift have been reported.
“We’ve seen a lot of falls over the holidays,” spokesperson for the commission, Patty Davis, told PEOPLE just days after the holiday. “We’ve seen at least 39 emergency room treated injuries associated with hoverboards” concussions, fractures, contusions, abrasions.”
With that long list of wounds, Tyson may want to stay away from his hoverboard for a while.
