Rihanna just gave fans a taste of her new album ANTI.
The 27-year-old singer took to Twitter on Wednesday to release “Work,” the first single off of her highly anticipated eighth studio album.
The track served as a musical reunion for Rihanna and Drake, who lent his lyrics to the new track.
“FIRST SINGLE #WORK ft. @Drake from #ANTI is here!! Listen up,” Rihanna tweeted.
The song features a smooth melody with Rihanna giving a reggae-esque drawl.
The singer has teased the album, a much-anticipated follow-up to 2012’s Unapologetic, for several months, but sources tell Billboard that the album could arrive as early as this week.
The source says that ANTI could come as a surprise release before Friday.
The song release comes just weeks before the star is set to hit the road for her Anti world tour.
The tour will kick off Feb. 26 in San Diego and will head overseas in June before closing the tour in Switzerland on Aug. 12.
