After a mostly scoreless game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, Germany bested Argentina 1-0 to win the 2014 World Cup.

Mario Gotze sealed the deal for German, scoring the final’s first goal in the 112th minute.

And no one got into all the athletic action more than celebrities, who posted Tweets and Instagrams documenting the nail-biter of a match.

While stars like Rihanna, Sarah Hyland and Gisele Bündchen cheered from the stands, even more A-listers caught the World Cup from home.

“The more they play, the more I eat #worldcup,” Ryan Seacrest quipped in a Tweet as the players sweated it out in 30 minutes of overtime.

And of course, German supermodel Heidi Klum sent her home team good luck.
