Bret Michaels is recovering so well from surgery in January to repair a hole in his heart that he’s ready to perform again next month.

“I am pumped to get back on the road and start rocking out on stage for all my awesome fans, Michaels, 47, says.

He’s gearing up to headline the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series sponsored by the Competitor Group, with a four-city tour that kicks off in Dallas and benefits Susan G. Komen for the Cure (to breast cancer) on March 27.
