Oh, were you doing something with your day more important than this? FALSE.

Prince, who’s made something of a second career fighting the otherwise inescapable tide of online music, has made his legendary cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella 2008 available again.

The singer recently retweeted a link to the video, showing at least the closest thing he can come to a full-on endorsement of its presence online.

Incidentally, Radiohead’s reaction to the whole thing might be the best part of this story. Reportedly, when Thom Yorke heard that Prince had yanked all live footage from the Coachella performance online, he said, “Well, tell him to unblock it. It’s our song.”

So as you float above the majesty of the Purple One’s ecstatic falsetto and guitar solos, remember you have Thom York to thank for this. And somewhere, Thom York is possibly dancing like this to it right now.
