10. HE'S AT YOUR SERVICE
There's nothing sexier than a man in uniform – Prince Harry certainly proves that to be true twice over (in his Army Air Corps training gear and in full Household Cavalry regalia)! The Royal Army lieutenant has admirably served his country on the frontline in Afghanistan, and come April 29 he'll serve as his brother Prince William's best man at his wedding to Kate Middleton.

9. HE GIVES BACK
He's got his late mum's common touch! Harry puckers up to a girl at the Mants'ase children's home in Lesotho, South Africa, where the prince launched the charity "Sentebale" (translation: "Forget Me Not") in memory of Princess Diana to help children orphaned by AIDS. "[Harry] has inherited his mother's extraordinary empathy," a senior Palace official has said. "He engages with children and young people."

8. HE LIKES HAVING FUN
"I am who I am. I'm always going to have that little sort of – how do you say? – child streak," Harry, who shows off his London club moves with Lesotho's Prince Seeiso, has said. That inner child certainly made a lasting impression during his and William's visit to Africa in June 2010 at the Mamohato Network Club, where the brothers participated in a confidence-building exercise with HIV-positive children.

7. HE'S COURAGEOUS
During his 10-week tour of duty in Afghanistan in late 2007, the lieutenant bravely fought the Taliban on the frontline. He's a "credit to the nation," General Sir Richard Dannatt said of the young prince, who once quipped, "There's no way I'm going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country."

6. HE'S GREEN
Following in his father's eco-friendly footprints, Harry shows off the green thumb he inherited from Prince Charles while planting a magnolia tree in the British Garden at New York City's Hanover Square during his first official U.S. visit in June 2009.

5. HE'S A GREAT BROTHER
"It's amazing how close we've become. Ever since our mother died, he is the one person on this earth who I can actually, really [talk to]," Harry has said of William, who shared the spotlight with his younger brother at London's Wembley Stadium during the charity concert they co-hosted to commemorate their late mother Diana in 2007, 10 years after her death.

4. HE'S AN EVEN BETTER SON
"I believe I can fulfill that," Harry (pictured with his family at the 1995 V-E Day ceremony) said of carrying on his mother's charitable legacy. And while his parents' marriage didn't have a fairy-tale ending, the young royal has been a vocal champion for his father's happiness, even supporting Prince Charles's decision to marry Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005. "She's a wonderful woman, and she's made our father very, very happy, which is the most important thing," he told PEOPLE of his stepmum.

3. HE FLEXES HIS MUSCLES
Chest assured – Harry's on duty! Though he's usually in uniform, the rugby-playing prince reveals his ab-tastic physique during a break from active service with the British Army in the southern Afghanistan desert in February 2008. We'll salute to that!

2. HE'S WORLDLY
During his first joint official royal tour of Africa with William, Harry showed off his animal magnetism with a cheetah at the Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Gaborone, Botswana, in June 2010. "I'm not going to be some person in the royal family who just finds a lame excuse to go abroad and do all sorts of sunny holidays and whatever," Harry said in 2005. "I can see myself doing as much as I can in the position that I've got."

1. HE'S A GOOD SPORT
Prince Harry excels at rugby, skiing and he's a natural on the polo field. Though he was thrown off a horse during a match in June 2010, the fearless royal jumped right back in the saddle for the Asprey World Class Cup Polo in Surrey, England, a month later.
