Singer Pete Doherty is struggling to stay sober after completing his court-ordered rehab.
“It’s hard work. I think I miss it a bit. … I’m in mourning. I’m in mourning for an armful,” the Babyshambles frontman told British music site NME.com about his heroin addiction.
Doherty, 28, who recently avoided jail on drug charges, also told NME he would “embrace” his new lifestyle but does not think it will be easy to stay out of trouble.
“The chances of me not getting arrested once in the next 18 months are quite slim really,” he said – a bit prophetically.
A day after his interview ran online, The Sun newspaper published what it claimed were video grabs of Doherty injecting drugs the day after the MTV Europe Awards.
There was no immediate comment from Doherty’s rep on the Sun‘s report.
