Out of the frying pan of their just-ended MTV reality series, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne found themselves in a fire late Friday night when the living room of their mansion in Buckinghamshire, England, was engulfed in flames, say news reports.
Fleeing from their beds, the Osbournes, with their pets, reportedly rushed to safety in their outdoor garden, as firefighters arrived on the scene. Investigators are now looking into the cause of the blaze, which initially seems to have been caused by faulty electrical wiring.
According to the Scotsman newspaper, a spokeswoman for Buckinghamshire fire service said: “Two men and one woman were treated at the scene after suffering from breathing in smoke but they were okay.”
“I am beginning to wonder when this bad luck’s ever going to stop,” Sharon, 51, is quoted as telling Britain’s Sun tabloid.
Besides Sharon’s well-documented battle with cancer, last November thieves broke into the mansion and stole jewelry, and earlier last year Ozzy, now 56, suffered a near-fatal crash on his quad bike while on the grounds of the estate.
