THE PUPPY LOVE
Forget medals: Puppies are the hot new prize to take home from Sochi. American freeskier Gus Kenworthy started the movement, bringing attention to a mom and her pups found living underneath a security tent in Sochi. Lindsey Jacobellis also plans to take one home, as does Bachelor alum Ali Fedotowsky.

Whether tall, feathered, dyed or tied, Olympic hair was pretty darn interesting to look at. U.S. figure skater Jason Brown's ended up standing out from the rest, though, thanks to Twitter, where someone launched a "Jason's Ponytail" account (@2014PonyPower) chronicling the daily happenings of the man's mane for its 4,000 followers and often chatting with the account dedicated to ice dancer Charlie White's mop, @CharliesCurls.

ASHLEY CAUGHT ON CAMERA
U.S. figure skater Ashley Wagner received a sour score in the team figure skating competition that put her in fourth place. Her response? This priceless look of disdain, which quickly went viral, spawning a gif that we watched over and over (and over) again.

THE LOVE CONNECTIONS
The hookup app Tinder became all the rage in Sochi, but some guys still went the old-fashioned route. After putting his digits on his helmet, Russian snowboarder Alexey Sobolev got more than 2,000 texts from fans, plus a few dozen naked photos. U.S. luger Tucker West let his dad do the job: Papa West went on Today and reminded the ladies that his son is "very single" and that they could connect with him on Facebook. Wonder if his relationship status has changed yet?

THE OUT-THERE FASHIONS
Who knew the Olympics would rival Fashion Week in style moments? Team USA's loud Ralph Lauren sweaters caused the first big stir (and later a big price bump), topping Russia's Opening Ceremonies Santa suits. The Norwegian curling team's pants took the cake, though, always surprising and delighting fans just slightly more than Johnny Weir's amazing outfits.

BOB'S RED EYES
Sure, we winced a couple of times watching Bob Costas's eye infection worsening in the early days of the games. But we admire the NBC sports commentator for having the guts to get in front of the camera – albeit with those Harry Potter glasses and some pinch-hitting help from Matt Lauer (who snuck this zinger in before the end of the Games).

THE WARDROBE MALFUNCTIONS
Russian speedskater Olga Graf's "oops" moment – unzipping her uniform down to her navel without realizing she had nothing on underneath – was actually kind of adorable once she bashfully noticed the mistake. Swedish skier Henrik Harlaut didn't even care that his pants were coming off as he flew over the mountaintops – pretty badass. And Canadian bobsledder Christopher Spring just made us LOL with his silly #SochiSelfie – here's hoping he found a better-fitting uniform in time for the competition.

KATE'S MAJOR MOVES
Who doesn't relate to U.S. luger Kate Hansen's revelation that she dances to Queen Bey (quite well, we might add) during her warm-up? Heck, we're still doing the "Single Ladies" dance in front of a full-length mirror every morning before breakfast.
