The house in San Francisco that O.J. Simpson, 53, bought for his mother, Eunice Simpson, 79, is being auctioned off to help pay for part of a legal judgment against the former gridiron star, according to a sheriff’s notice posted to the house. The sale is to take place Nov. 30, say reports. Simpson bought his mother the house in the late 1970s, when he was playing for the San Francisco 49ers. It remains in O.J. Simpson’s name and is said to be worth about $300,000. Attempts by the Associated Press to reach Eunice Simpson’s lawyer were not answered. O.J. has a $33.5 million civil jury legal judgment against him, stemming from the 1994 slaying of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.
