Hard to believe, but Nicole Kidman claims that “men aren’t beating a path to my door.”

In an interview with British magazine Now, Kidman talks about the difficulties of being a single mom looking for love.

“I’m hoping to meet someone and be happy with them,” she says, according to the Associated Press. “But that’s not as easy as it sounds. I’m a 37-year-old woman with two children.”

“The children are my priority,” adds Kidman, who shares custody of Isabella, 11, and Connor, 9, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, from whom she split in 2001 after 11 years of marriage. “I take them around with me – movies or baseball games or local shows – and that’s not so appealing for any new man on the scene, is it?”

The Stepford Wives star has been single since breaking up with rocker Lenny Kravitz earlier this year. In the Now interview, she denies rumors – perhaps sparked by recent press reports that she, Cruise and the kids would be vacationing together in Australia this summer – that the couple might get back together.

“That whole part of my life is over and done with,” she says. “We’ll always be in contact because of our children. But I’m single and there’s no one out there for me at the moment.”

Meanwhile, perhaps Kidman can take a tip from Halle Berry. The Oscar winner, also 37, tells Harper’s Bazaar that she’s been looking to a local sex shop to spice up her post-breakup sex life, New York’s Daily News reports.

“You can’t forget your sexuality – that’s not good,” says Berry, who is divorcing hubby Eric Benet. “You can still embrace your body by going to the gym or going to the Pleasure Chest!” – an L.A. shop specializing in sex toys and trashy lingerie.
