“Naked Gun” actress Priscilla Presley, 55, has been named to the board of directors of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the movie company’s CEO, Alex Yemenidjian, announced yesterday. He cited her “professional achievements in both the business and entertainment sectors” as reasons for her appointment. Presley is credited with maintaining the musical and financial legacy of her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley (they were married from 1967-73, and he died in 1977), who, coincidentally, in the ’50s and ’60s made several movies for MGM, the studio whose celebrated logo is a roaring lion.
