Get the tissues out – Nathan Sykes‘ new music video for his single “Over and Over Again” might make you cry.

The 22-year-old singer announced the release of his Notebook-inspired clip via Twitter on Wednesday, writing, “Beyond excited to say that the #OverAndOverAgainVideo is finally here!!! Really hope you love it as much as I do!!”

The romantic video, which was directed by Frank Borin, features Sykes playing the piano and chronicles a lifelong love from beginning to end.

Sykes’ leading lady is played by model MaeMae Renfrow. The couple falls in love as they go on movie and fishing dates – and yes, they even have that iconic rowboat moment from the beloved movie starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.

Sykes – who was formerly a member of The Wanted – spoke to PEOPLE about his exciting solo chapter in September, saying, “I’m going through a complete new reintroduction to me as an artist, so I think people have been quite surprised by what they’re hearing.”
