Natasha Bedingfeld wants the world to know married life is everything she could have hoped for – and more.
“I’m a Mrs. now! I’m so happy,” the singer, 27, says on her MySpace page. “I was single for a long time and I truly enjoyed it but I have to say that I just couldn’t resist falling for Matt.”
The British songstress, who got married to California businessman Matthew Robinson last month, says that although she still believes you “don’t need another half to make me whole…having an ‘other half’ definitely makes my life a ‘whole’ lot more fun.”
“We are having such a magical time here on our honeymoon,” adds Bedingfield, who plans to return to L.A. soon – she didn’t reveal the location of their honeymoon – and then jet off to London, where she’ll begin to write her next record.
As for her re-released single “Soulmate” off of her second album, N.B., the newlywed explains the song’s significant meaning now that she’s married – and why it’s one of her favorites.
“I wrote this song before I met Matt and it’s about longing to find someone that understands you, who knows how to love you,” she says. “And now it is being played on the radio just as it’s coming true for me. I love that about songs…it’s as if they can predict the future.”
