Gold-medal-winning gymnasts Nadia Comaneci and Bart Conner welcomed their first child, son Dylan Paul, on Saturday.
“He already has definition in his deltoids and his biceps,” Conner, 48, tells the Associated Press. Conner won two gold medals at the 1984 Olympics and is the only American male gymnast to win gold medals at every level of competition.
Adds Comaneci, 44, the first Olympic gymnast to score a perfect 10, “We’ve been through a lot of high moments in our life in sports through what we accomplished, but this is just something that is totally unique.”
Dylan was actually due to arrive next month, the 30th anniversary of his mother’s seven perfect 10s at the Montreal Games, the AP reports.
The new parents, who were married on April 27, 1996, co-own the Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy in Norman, Okla.
