JESSICA SIMPSON & NICK LACHEY
Whether dressed down (left, in New York City) or decked out (right, in Beverly Hills), Simpson and Lachey's style is all about being "young and fun," says PEOPLE StyleWatch writer Danielle Dubin. "They don't disappoint when they go out to red-carpet events where they know all eyes are on them."

KATIE HOLMES & TOM CRUISE
"They may have a disparity in their actual ages, but their clothing styles are in sync," says Dubin about Cruise, 42, and Holmes, 26 (left, in Paris; right, in Marseilles). "They both tend to shy away from very outrageous fashion." The couple opt for tailored looks and steer clear of bold prints.

VICTORIA & DAVID BECKHAM
It's easy to see why the British It couple are fashion icons in their native country. "They're not looking to follow trends – they're looking to set them," says Dubin of the former Spice Girl and the soccer star (left, in Saint-Tropez; right, in Beverly Hills). The singer has even launched her own line of jeans for Rock amp Republic.

JENNIFER LOPEZ & MARC ANTHONY
These two (at the 2005 Grammys) like to coordinate, but their approach to fashion couldn’t be more different. "There's a bling factor" to Lopez's style, says Dubin. "It's very luxe – her furs, her fabrics are very rich, she's always glimmering." Yet Anthony – who is equally into clothes – is more "low-key" and understated.

BEYONCé & JAY-Z
Beyoncé amp Jay-Z are crazy in love – and mad for fashion. "They're very well-matched in personality and also in style," says Dubin. "Their closets complement each other." On vacation (left, in Portofino, Italy), they sport "a very high-end casual chic." At a New York City event sponsored by House of Dereon, her clothing line with mom Tina (right), they go for an "elegant look."

FAITH HILL & TIM MCGRAW
While Hill has become a true fashionista, McGraw has retained a "country edge" with his penchant for cowboy hats and boots (right, at the 2004 CMA Awards). As a duo, the couple make a striking appearance on the red carpet (left) – and blend their styles seamlessly. "He'll meet her halfway," says Dubin.

PENELOPE CRUZ & MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY
"She's a petite Spanish beauty and he's a rough-and-tumble Texan," says Dubin of Cruz and McConaughey (in Tokyo). "She's always out in high fashion and he'll always be that casual Texan. But he makes her a little more casual and she classes him up a little. They're an interesting mix."

DEMI MOORE & ASHTON KUTCHER
"He's very confident in his clothing, as is she," says Dubin of Moore and Kutcher. "They're not afraid to wear look-at-me outfits" (right). On his own, Kutcher is a sartorial daredevil (he's worn a skirt), but when he's out with his lady love, he takes a more sophisticated approach. Even wearing jeans (left, in Hollywood), "he'll dress them up with a blazer."

HEIDI KLUM & SEAL
In their downtime, the photogenic couple are all about "being comfortable and functional, like with their matching baggy pants and slouchy bags," says Dubin of the supermodel and her musician husband (left, in New York City). But when "she glams it up, he rises to the occasion" (right, at the 2004 CFDA Fashion Awards).

JADA PINKETT SMITH & WILL SMITH
"They're an incredibly sexy couple," says Dubin of the movie-star pair. "When they step out, their clothing will match, down to very deliberate color choices and styles." And they're not afraid to be bold: At the BET Awards in June, the pair "works a '70s angle" with his natty suit and her voluminous hair and beaded gown.

GWEN STEFANI & GAVIN ROSSDALE
Stefani "knows clothing and loves it," says Dubin. "Even her casual looks are well put-together. She loves to experiment." While the singer (and designer of her own clothing line, L.A.M.B.) "does the high-fashion talking," her rocker husband (left, in Studio City, Calif.; right, in West Hollywood) has "more of a casual, laid-back look. He's a well-suited backdrop to her fashion risks."

PARIS HILTON & PARIS LATSIS
"There's a trendiness to both of them," says Dubin of the betrothed couple. "She's always in heels and is well-accessorized. He clearly has fun in what he picks out." While Hilton's look "is very feminine and girly," Latsis's is edgier, with rocker tees and suit-and-sneakers ensembles (left, in Beverly Hills; right, in London). "This is a pair who are dressing to have fun."
