Moss Gets Apology

Posted on

British supermodel Kate Moss accepted an undisclosed libel pay-out and a public apology from Britain’s Daily Mail tabloid, which had alleged in a July 1999 story headlined “What’s Wrong With Kate” that she behaved badly at a photo shoot. “Any reader of the article would have been left with the false and completely unfounded impression that Kate Moss had attended a photo session whilst incapacitated by either drink or drugs and was unable to perform her contracted services,” said Moss’s attorney. The paper has apologized unreservedly for the distress caused to Moss, 27, says its lawyer.
