The Barbara Walters-Monica Lewinsky roadshow may be only beginning. After last night’s blockbuster interview — which sparked Monica-watching parties all over America — the next step may be Monica joining “The View,” the daytime talk show starring Walters and Star Jones, Meredith Vieira and Joy Behar. Yesterday Walters extended an “open invitation” to Monica to audition for the vacant roundtable spot on the show. (Debbie Matenopoulos exited the show in January, leaving the Gen-X slot open.) The show’s executive producer Bill Geddie expressed enthusiasm to reporters over having Lewinsky as a co-host. “I think she’d be great,” he said. “She’s the right age and has the right experience — and it’s seriously crossed our minds … *if* she is interested.”
