Monica Lewinsky has pulled out of her only live British interview. The former White House intern was due to be interviewed on BBC Radio 4’s “Woman’s Hour” Tuesday, but she withdrew at the last moment, the BBC said. Since she arrived in Britain on Sunday Lewinsky has been engaged in a whirlwind schedule of book signings to promote her “Monica’s Story.” Interviewer Jenni Murray had submitted a list of questions which focused on how Monica came to be involved in a relationship with President Clinton, her political interests, how she had been treated by the press and how she felt about press coverage. A Radio 4 spokeswoman said that Lewinsky’s publishers had reopened negotiations about the “Woman’s Hour” interview, which may go ahead as planned.
