This has been a rocky year for YouTube comedian Colleen Ballinger, but on Oct. 14, she’s about to reach a very exciting milestone — her first Netflix series, Haters Back Off, starts streaming.

The show will follow Ballinger’s signature character, Miranda Sings — a wildly untalented fictional singer who believes she is extraordinary — as she navigates her daily life.

Here are the five Miranda Sings videos that made us fall in love with Ballinger’s Crocs-obsessed alter ego.

1. Her original song “Where My Baes At”

2.  Her “Shake It Off” cover

3. Her “Hello” cover

4. Her “How to Kiss” tutorial

5. Her voice lesson with Tori Kelly

Ballinger created the Sings character in 2008 and since then has also appeared on shows like Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The eight-episode Netflix series will dive deeper into the character’s wacky family life and offer a fuller sense of Miranda Sings as a person. The comedian is the first-ever YouTube personality to land a scripted streaming series.
