Besides Williams, the star's 7-year-old daughter, Matilda, seemed equally smitten with the How I Met Your Mother actor, who frequently accompanied his ladies on excursions around New York City, such as a visit to the Bronx Zoo and a Jersey Boys performance on Broadway. 5. THE WORLD WAS ROOTING FOR THEM
Both beloved by fans in their own right, Williams and Segel became even more likable as a twosome, something the actress herself acknowledged in InStyle's March 2013 issue. "If people are happy about it that makes me feel good," she told the mag. But the dream team came to an end only weeks later, when word leaked that Williams and Segel had split.
