When Metallica releases its new album, Death Magnetic, in September, fans will be able to do more than thrash their heads to it – they’ll be able to play their fake Gibsons right along with it.
According to nme.com, the band will release the album on the video game Guitar Hero, as well as in stores.
And hardcore fans may have something else to look forward to: Lars and the guys reportedly may release a special Metallica-only edition of the game next year.
In related news, Guns N Roses, will also release their new track, “Shackler’s Revenge” on Guitar Hero‘s competition, Rock Band II, the same month.
