Who needs red, white and blue on Memorial Day, when you can have a delicious green cocktail that’s as revitalizing as a dip in a pool?
“It’s great for summer,” says mixologist Aisha Sharpe, who serves up cocktails at New York City’s Nolita-based cocktail bar Mother’s Ruin, of her Green with Inn-vy drink, “because it’s a perfect combination of fruit with the melon, vegetables with the cucumbers and a refreshing taste of Inniskillin Vidal and mint to top off the drink.”
Green with Inn-vy
• 6 slices cucumber
• 5 pieces honeydew melon
• 5 mint leaves
• 3 oz. Inniskillin Vidal
1. In a mixing glass, muddle 5 cucumbers, melon and 4 mint leaves.
2. Add Vidal, ice and shake; strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the remaining cucumber and mint.
