With Memorial Day on Monday, who better to help plan the best bash than a world class DJ-singer who has been relevant in the business for more than a decade?
Nadia Ali, who started out as ½ of the group iiO in 2001, went solo in 2005. The Libya-born songstress, famous for such hits as “Call My Name,” “Pressure” and her debut, “Rapture,” has worked with many other big names in electronica, including Armin van Buuren and Avicii.
“I have four back-to-back shows this weekend,” the Grammy nominated tells PEOPLE. “I’ll be enjoying the beaches during the day and singing my heart out to my fans at night. Whether it’s Memorial Day or any other holiday, music has the power to set any mood and build long-lasting memories.”
