When she wants to feel the wind in her hair, Marisa Miller just hops on her Harley-Davidson Nightster.

“My dad taught me how to ride,” Miller, 32, tells the February issue of Shape, on newsstands Jan. 24.

“Being outside in nature is so freeing for me,” the California girl adds. “And whenever I really focus on something – whether it’s surfing, biking, or cooking – that’s how I de-stress. But I also love the challenge. Riding my motorcycle builds my self-esteem and confidence.”
