A 3-year-old toddler was found inside a stolen truck on Sunday after the driver led police on a high-speed chase.
Authorities in Leicester, Massachusetts, said that the 1994 GMC Sierra truck was reported stolen on Friday before being spotted over the weekend, according to the Associated Press.
Police chased the car from Worcester Regional Airport to Spencer, Massachusetts, before they finally caught up to it. No one was injured in the chase.
The child’s mother, who authorities said was dating the suspect, was in the car along with the driver and child. She told police that she didn’t know the car had been stolen.
The driver, who has not been identified, was taken into custody and is due to be arraigned on Monday.
