Lindsay Lohan may be seeing some action with Tom Cruise, after discussing the possibility of appearing in Mission: Impossible 3, she says.
“I actually met with J.J. Abrams, who is directing (the film),” Lohan, 18, tells TV’s Access Hollywood. “I’m a huge fan of … (the director’s TV series) Lost and Alias, so hopefully, we will see what happens.”
Scarlett Johansson who, along with Carrie-Anne Moss reportedly left the film because of scheduling and script delays, had previously filled the role for which Lohan is jockeying.
Should Lohan be hired, “I’ll be in training for a few weeks, putting on some muscles,” she said.
Lohan’s physical frame is already getting a lot of attention. Asked about reports that she’s lost too much weight – 20 lbs., by one account – Lohan responded by saying she doesn’t pay attention to what people are saying, and that in Hollywood thin is in.
“I think there’s a lot of pressure,” she said. “Especially when you lose a lot of weight and then people are telling you, ‘You look great!’ You are like, ‘So … did I look fat before?'”
As for how she’d feel working with Cruise, Lohan said: “It’s kind of an incredible feeling, I’m scared. If I do Mission: Impossible 3 that is going to be so exhilarating. I’m so excited, I just can’t wait to do stunts and get all into it.”
