Kylie Jenner launched her new website and app on Monday. And the teen’s personalized application topped the iTunes Free Apps chart, surpassing that of her superstar sisters Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
“#1 I can’t believe it. I love you guys. Can’t wait to post more tomorrow,” she wrote Tuesday alongside an Instagram photo of the chart (with the Kylie Jenner Official App parked right in the top spot, above Facebook and Instagram).
The 18-year-old wasn’t the only one posting pics of the chart.
Her mom Kris Jenner uploaded a photo of the chart to her own Instagram account, writing, “Wow look at you go Kylie!!!!!! Congrats you are amazing!!!!!! #proudmama #workethic #smartgirls #family #love #thekyliejenner.com.”
TMZ reports that nearly 900,000 people signed up for the sisters’ sites (which gives users access to their world for $2.99 a month, after a free, seven-day trial), and the percentage of those who signed up for Kylie’s surpassed her sisters’ with double digits.
A whopping 74 percent reportedly signed up for Kylie’s, 11 percent for Khloé’s, 9 percent for Kim’s and 6 percent for Kendall’s.
Kylie’s app saw so much traffic on its first day that she took to Twitter to explain that the app was experiencing some technical difficulties due to the number of people on it at the time.
Although her little sis may have beat her out, Kim’s personalized app also made it to the iTunes Best New Apps list. The 34-year-old uploaded a photo of the list on Instagram, too.
Kylie’s app features behind-the-scenes videos, shopping suggestions, outfit breakdowns, style tips, makeup tutorials and more. Her app remained in the chart’s top spot Wednesday.
