A falling piece of equipment struck Kristin Chenoweth on the set of The Good Wife in Brooklyn on Wednesday, sending her to the hospital in an ambulance.
The condition of the 43-year-old actress was not immediately known.
Paramedics responded to a 911 call at 5:07 p.m. of a woman being hit by scaffolding, according to TMZ, which quotes a witness as saying a gust of wind knocked lighting equipment into Chenoweth.
The actress fell to the ground and hit her head on the concrete, the witness tells TMZ.
A New York City Fire Department spokesman tells the Associated Press that a woman suffered minor injures at that location but the spokesman wouldn’t identify her.
Chenoweth, a Tony-winning Broadway star and an Emmy winner for Pushing Daisies, has a recurring role on the CBS drama.
