Despite all the ups and downs Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye West have endured in recent months, the power couple are back on track.

A source tells PEOPLE in this week’s issue that the two are finally “coexisting perfectly” after months of marital strain sparked by Kardashian West’s nightmare Paris heist last October, followed swiftly by West’s hospitalized for exhaustion — not to mention the drumbeat of tabloid rumors about an impending breakup.

“Kanye is doing well,” says the insider of the 39-year-old rapper. “What pushed him over the edge was he had too many projects. Now he’s stripped everything back and is focusing on just his fashion line.”

“He’s not trying to do everything at once,” said the source, who adds that West is “really happy” and “getting on so well with Kim.”

The stars are currently living in Bel Air, but the source says they plan on moving into their soon-to-be newly renovated Calabasas mansion in a few months.

Meanwhile, Kardashian West, 36, has been “in full-on mommy mode,” says the source.

“She’s very involved in everything to do with the kids,” says the insider of the couple’s two children: daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 14 months.

According to the source, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is “much more relaxed.”

“2016 changed her outlook on life and it changed her priorities,” adds the source. “She’s not over the fame, but she realizes it doesn’t matter. Life is just about family.”
