Good wife, great apartment!

Julianna Margulies opened the doors of her 2,200-square-foot New York home to Architectural Digest for its February issue, and the modern-meets-Asian space is quite the stunner.

The Emmy-winning star of The Good Wife bought the place a decade ago, and later brought in designer Vicente Wolf to help her decorate it. “I’m obsessed with design magazines,” says Margulies, 47. “And every time I’d get to a room I loved, it was Vicente’s. He has this way of making spaces not just beautiful but homey, modern and useful.”

The loftlike dwelling, where the actress lives with husband Keith Lieberthal and their 6-year-old son Kieran, is bright and airy, with 10-foot-plus ceilings and large, double-paned windows that let in the light while keeping out the noise.

The furniture, fixtures and other design elements combine in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance. “For Julianna and Keith, my job was to ensure that the apartment felt entirely new,” says Wolf.

And entirely delightful.
