After nine years working on The Office, John Krasinski is cashing in on his vacation time.

Joined by wife Emily Blunt, the Newton native showed his support for the home team during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final, held Friday in Boston.

“Here we go Bs!!!!!!!” the actor Tweeted, showing off his Bruins t-shirt.

Turns out Krasinski’s cheering paid off: the Bruins will advance to the Stanley Cup Final after defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0.

He and Blunt are in town through the weekend and crashing at Krasinski’s parents’ home, the actor told PEOPLE earlier this week. On Wednesday, the pair stepped out for Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s The One Hundred Gala, where Krasinski admitted being back in Boston always proves to be a blast from his past.

“When Emily’s family came to visit, we did the duck boat tours, which was the best. I find myself doing a lot of touristy stuff because I like seeing all the fun things I did when I was a kid through their eyes,” he tells PEOPLE.

“Whether it’s the Freedom Trail or taking them to a game, it’s all so much [better] when you get to see them get really excited about it.”
