After saying “I do” nearly seven months ago, Jimmy Kimmel is reveling in married life.
“It’s going really well,” Kimmel, 46, told PEOPLE on Friday in New York City at Howard Stern’s 60th birthday bash, which he hosted. “Things couldn’t be better.”
When asked what type of husband the late night talk show host is, he said, “I think I’m a good husband.”
For confirmation, he directed the question to his wife Molly McNearney, 35, who is a co-head writer on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and asked her, “What kind of husband am I?”
“He doesn’t put the toilet seat down and he’s terrible at taking the garbage out,” she said with a laugh. “And every day he takes one dirty Q-tip and puts it on the kitchen sink! Other than that, he’s the best husband.”
The funny man responded: “Actually, I’m a bad husband. I’m lucky she puts up with me!”
