“Janet, who has been under her doctor’s care and recuperating over the last week, is excited about getting back on the road and again being able to share with her fans what she feels is one of her best stage shows ever,” says a statement from promoter Live Nation to Access Hollywood.
Her first concert back will be on Saturday in Uncasville, Conn.
The singer, 42, was forced to postpone shows in Montreal, Greensboro, N.C., Boston, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., following a brief hospitalization Sept. 29 in Montreal just hours before her concert was scheduled to start.
Doctors later advised her to rest until she was fully recuperated from her illness, causing her to postpone more shows.
Jackson kicked off her North American tour in Vancouver on Sept. 10.
