Rumors have been swirling for months that Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are an item. But the model says the “Boyfriend” singer is not her boyfriend.
When asked about her Valentine’s Day plans Friday at the Fendi New York flagship store launch on Madison Avenue, said she won’t be celebrating.
“I have no plans because I am single, and it’s okay with me,” the 18-year-old daughter of Stephen Baldwin told reporters.
“You know, we’re just going to pretend like it’s a normal Saturday and go on with our day.”
Busy with New York Fashion Week, Baldwin has seen out and about with the sometimes-troubled singer – who appears to be attempting to turn over a new leaf – as recently as Saturday morning.
The pair appear to have met up after the Fendi event, as they were photographed leaving New York hotspot Up & Down early Saturday morning.
The pair don’t just roll with the same crowd: They go to the same church, too. Bieber has reportedly recently been spending time with Carl Lentz, the pastor at Hillsong NYC, Baldwin’s parish.
“We’re just friends. I’ve known him for a long time, since I was about 13,” Baldwin told E! at the amfAR New York Gala Wednesday. “He’s just going through a time in his life where he’s transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I’m trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him.”
