“Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss, 35, spent the weekend behind bars, following her arrest for allegedly using methamphetamines and missing a drug test, both of which were in violation of her parole, authorities announced on Friday. U.S. Marshals arrested Fleiss on Thursday at a scheduled meeting with her probation officer, according to Justice Department spokesman Thom Mrozeck. The former leader of a prostitution ring that catered to a celebrity clientele (Charlie Sheen and Billy Idol were among the johns, according to news and police accounts at the time of Fleiss’s 1996 trial) was held without bail at L.A.’s Metropolitan Detention Center. She is now set to face a federal judge early this week to answer these new charges. U.S. Marshal Supervising Deputy Bill Woolsey told reporters that Fleiss admitted to her probation officer that she had used meth. The former madam was released from federal prison in 1999 after serving three years on convictions for tax evasion, conspiracy to defraud the IRS and money laundering. The charges all stemmed from her high-end call-girl service.
