Noah needed glasses, but there was a problem. Noah’s mother, Lindsey Fisher, recently told WLTX that he burst into tears when he put on his glasses for the first time. “It was the saddest thing,” she said. “It just broke my heart. And I finally got him to tell me why he was crying and he said because everyone was going to laugh at him.”

To help her son learn to love his glasses, Fisher decided to enlist the help of family and friends from all over the U.S. and created a Facebook page. Her hope was to help Noah, 4, realize that wearing glasses isn’t the end of the world.

Now, the Facebook page, Glasses for Noah, has gone viral, with over 48,000 four-eyed fans liking the page so far. Visitors to the Glasses for Noah page leave messages of support like “Glasses are awesome!” and “I love your glasses Noah, they really suit you” with spectacle wearers from around the world chiming in.

The page is filled with images of men, women and children all rocking their frames, showing Noah that wearing glasses is A-ok. There are even pictures of pets in specs and, to really inspire a 4-year old, some shots of superheroes like Batman, Superman and Noah’s favorite – The Hulk – all wearing glasses.

Noah’s mom says his confidence is growing even as the submissions continue to roll in. Good job, Internet!
