As the executive producer of Devious Maids, a proud political activist and a red-carpet mainstay, Eva Longoria sure is busy. Luckily, the actress is happy to jet-set – and she enjoys the journey just as much as the destination.
“I work everywhere. I love planes, I love flying, I love airports,” Longoria, 39, admitted on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show airing Monday.
The always honest DeGeneres said what was on every weary traveler’s mind: “That’s weird.”
But Longoria insists flying is more fun than it is a hassle.
“I know restaurants in certain airports that I will go earlier to the airport because I really want to eat there. Like in Dallas there’s this barbecue place in terminal D, the American terminal. In San Antonio, there’s a Mexican restaurant where the United Airlines are,” she explained. “I love airports. I like reading, I like wifi. I get very excited.”
It’s a good thing Longoria likes going the distance: Her boyfriend, Jose Antonio Baston, is a Mexican businessman.
“I’m very happy,” the former Desperate Housewives star said of her “uber private” beau. “He’s a good dresser, too. I always have to step it up. It’s exhausting.”
