David Hasselhoff’s health scare over Thanksgiving weekend was prompted after the actor fell over several times and could not stand up, a newly released 911 recording from the Nov. 27 incident reveals.
“My dad just … he’s collapsed,” says Hasselhoff’s daughter Hayley, 17, who is heard crying. “He’s standing up but he keeps falling back down … But then he got back up and he’s fine. It’s kind of scaring me.”
Hasselhoff, 57, was hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center that weekend and was released.

The America’s Got Talent host, who’s struggled with alcoholism, has been hospitalized at least four times in the last two years. A rep and lawyer for the actor declined to explain the reason for Hasselhoff’s latest trip to the hospital.
“He’s fine,” said attorney Mel Goldsman shortly after the incident. “If he were close to death, he wouldn’t be home right now recording songs with his daughters.” Goldsman added that a report claiming the actor was held on psychiatric hold that weekend was false.
