Heard the one about the frog and the prince? Well, make that a frog and three princes … but this is no fairytale.

Prince William and Prince Harry have joined their dad, Prince Charles in cameo performances in an online video to highlight Charles’s fight to save the rainforests as part of the Prince’s Rainforest Project.

In the 90-second film, which goes live on several Web sites at 1 p.m. EST Tuesday, the young princes are joined by a digitally-created frog and a few real-life stars: Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig, Robin Williams, the Dalai Lama, soccer legend Pele and singer Joss Stone.

In the short clip, William, 26, and Harry, 24, are shown sitting together discussing their fight to save the environment “for all of us,” as they raise awareness of the Prince’s Rainforest Project.

By signing up to the Web site, viewers will not only able to show their support for the cause, according to Prince Charles’s office, but they can also interact with the site, and create their own “mash-up” and appear alongside the frog and celebs, creating a global network of followers demanding action.

While Charles, 60, has long fought for the environment and has stepped up his campaign to save the rainforests around the world in the last 18 months, royal aides call the prince’s latest move “unprecedented” as he draws on the Internet’s power to enlist people around the world.

In a Web cast on the site, Prince Charles says, “Our aim, with your help, is to build an online community to call, from the bottom up, for urgent action to protect the rainforests, without which we will most certainly lose the battle against catastrophic climate change. One of the Internet’s strengths is that it can enable diverse communities to come together to ensure that everybody’s views and actions can really be made to count.

“It provides the potential to create global determination for change on a vitally important issue.”
