December 13, 2014, or 12/13/14, is set to be the last number-sequential date until January 2, 2034. Wanting a “cool” wedding date – and not wanting to wait another 20 years to get it – thousands of couples are planning to get hitched on this special day, reports the New York Post.

“I always wanted a winter wedding, so I originally picked Dec. 6. But that wasn’t cool, and when I found out that 12/13/14 fell on a Saturday, I knew I had to pick it,” bride-to-be Jennifer Krysiak told the Post. “We started planning as soon as we got engaged last September.”

Krysiak, 31, isn’t alone. According to a poll from David’s Bridal, more than 20,000 U.S. couples plan to marry on 12/13/14. Only 7,200 pairs married on December 13 of last year.

The requests for the December date have become so plentiful that venues, DJs and other wedding service providers are having to turn many couples away. Others are seeing the popular day as a way to cash in. Las Vegas chapels are offering special 12/13/14 packages, including one with a price of $1,213.14.
