SIENNA & JUDE
Everything's not always black and white between Jude Law and Sienna Miller, but in London recently the formerly estranged couple send a clear message: They're back in sync – and with a new mod look. In their style, says McLean, Va.-based psychotherapist and relationship coach Toni Coleman, "they found a place to meet in the middle."

BRITNEY & KEVIN
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (in Malibu last month) have something to get off their chests in his-and-hers message tees (on his: "Get a clue"; on hers: "Don't be mad at me when I'm mad at you!"). Is it a hint to the paparazzi? "They're letting the photographers know, 'We don't care!' " says Coleman. "Which can be a very defensive posture."

NICOLE & KEITH
Nicole Kidman followed new beau Keith Urban on tour, and now she seems to be falling in step with the country star's laid-back fashion, too. In Boston in November (left) and Nashville two weeks later, the normally perfectly coiffed actress "looks relaxed and comfortable," Coleman says. "She's letting go – it's a real lifestyle change. She really wants to connect with him."

HILARY & JOEL
She's pop, he's punk – but Hilary Duff and Joel Madden are charting their own identity as a couple, and that means compromise. "They're experimenting, and moving toward something different for both of them," says Coleman. The result? In L.A. this summer (left), he toted her Chihuahua in a pink blankie; in London this fall, she went edgy with leather.

FAITH & TIM
Heading into a benefit for Hurricane Katrina victims (in New York City in September), Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are united in their cause and their couture. "They're totally in sync with each other," Coleman says of the married country singers, in New York City this fall. "This is the first time I've seen him in shoes that shine!"

BRAD & ANGELINA
Brad Pitt has adopted Angelina Jolie's passion for charity, flying planes and, apparently, biker chic (in Edmonton, Alta., this fall). Is he a serial copycat? "He had more of a preppy style when he was with Jennifer Aniston, and Jen is preppy," says Coleman. "This new look is more rebellious – and Angelina's a real rebel."

GAVIN & GWEN
Former grunge god Gavin Rossdale is taking a cue from his pop-star wife (and clothing designer), Gwen Stefani (in Studio City, Calif., this summer). "She looks put-together even in jeans," says Coleman. "Women often try to influence men. I wouldn't be surprised if she pulled that shirt out of the closet and said, 'Why don't you wear this?' Even though he held out with the sneakers."

DERYCK & AVRIL
What's red and black and punked-out all over? Avril Lavigne and her Sk8er Boi fiancé, Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley. The mirror-image couple rocked the same color scheme in Beverly Hills in October. "Right down to her interesting socks and his shoes, they complement each other," says Coleman.

ASHTON & DEMI
Newlyweds Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore (in London last month) have not only merged their lives, but also their styles. "When people have been together for a long time, they start to look alike," says Coleman. "The jeans, the black coats, the hats and glasses – there is a sense of real comfort and connectedness."

GUY & MADONNA
Since marrying British bloke Guy Ritchie nearly five years ago, onetime Material Girl Madonna has shown a new appreciation for trainers and track pants: In London this summer, the two look ready for rugby in their matching caps and warmup suits. "They seem very comfortable together in this style," says Coleman. "My guess is they're really happy in this life."

TOM & KATIE
Pre-pregnancy, Katie Holmes followed fiancé Tom Cruise's lead – both literally and sartorially. In Madrid this summer, the couple wore matching tops and aviator shades. "He might be making suggestions about how she should dress," says Coleman. "She's young, she adores him and she seems to be trying to look more sophisticated and grown-up."
